Who am I?

April 15, 2017 by Albert Valbuena

My name is Albert Valbuena. I am a retired ski instructor and after a period of five years in the international department of a logistics company I recently moved in to the IT industry. It hasn’t been overnight and it is still work in progress. A few years ago I started a website called www.skireviewer.com. The graphical utilities lead to the command line and I suddenly found myself playing with FreeBSD and Ubuntu.

I am still a passionate skier and skireviewer.com will hopefully progress on its own. But I also enjoy computers and systems as much as skiing. This has triggered this change in my career and life redirecting myself into a different professional career. IT is something I am a newbie one hundred per cent.

This site, Admin… by accident!, is my career portfolio. The main purpose is to show potential employers what I can do. But I also want to publish articles to advocate for some projects and, of course, have my say in some topics.

I am a very busy person so don’t wait for me to reply your comments soon. If you really want to talk to me, make yourself a favor and just e-mail me. I hope you have something interesting to say.
